Unless you're making your truck a beauty queen, don't even think about putting aluminum bumpers on it. Not only will you bend/break the mounts easily, keep in mind that the stock plastic has a lot more flex to it and doesn't transfer shock to other parts. If you plan to bash, an aluminum tank guard is a good idea, as well as a center skid plate.

If you really want aluminum, you can find a ton of stuff on fleaBay for the Savage, including various bumper designs.
