Don't guite understand what you mean in that statement. Whether you mean what foam is made from or what type of foam tires to use.
Foam tire makers like Jaco, BSR, TRC etc get their supply from companies that manufacture it for other uses. They grade the foam according to density (durameter hardness) then sell by firmness usually with a color code. Tire manufacturers who use the same color codes, usually handles differently than anothers. If you are looking for a tire compound visit the track where you may be interested in racing, you'll be able to get better information there.
