would it be easy to convert a old e-maxx into te wide arm e-maxx......and what else is different about the newer one and the older one????thanx

it will cost you appx $30-40 to convert it. Tower has a conversion setup with new a-arms, shock towers, turnbuckles, screws, and spacers. I have the setup...works great

i converted my emaxx for much less. if you get the stock maxx wide arms, they are only like 7.50, then all you need are the 118mm turnbuckles, i believe the fronts are longer than the rears, so take the stock front turnbuckles off and put them on the rear, then put the 118 on the front. the drivelines are telescoping so they will still work, if your not worried about the shock towers, its much cheaper to peice it together.

I would piece it together too but I would go with the RPM extended arms and Titanium Turnbuckles.

thats exactly what i did, i used the rpm arms, but they are a little more expensive than the stock arms, i was saying the cheapest way to do it would be with the stock arms, but in my opinion the rpm arms are the best way to do it.

yea but if you break one you want have to pay for another. So in the long run it would cost less (if you are prone to breaking things).

thats why i went with the rpm, cause of the lifetime warranty. im never buying another a arm for my maxx :D
