Hey guys i was running my truck doing some serious off-roading yestarday and something odd happened. The CV driveshaft kept coming out of the output cups. It seems to be that the shaft is too short (you can see it ready to come out..trust me). So what i was thinking of doing is putting some washers/shims/whatever you want to call them, inbetween the steering knuckle bearing and the output shaft on the axle. The only thing that worries me is will it affect performance..as far as breaking? I know that im gonna need a washer that is slightly smaller than the bearing so it will spin freely.

p.s. I have a maxx with the dynamite conversion kit

i would rather got washers under U-joint, or longer U-joints ( as i remember dom had similar problem)

I had the problem before, You need to turn in the Pivot Balls some, it will make the maxx not as wide but it will solve the CVD problem. Turn them Clockwise and turn both upper and lower exacly the same.
