Well... it should be in stores as we speak!!! The SUbject of this thread is also the subject of a Field'n'Bench review in MODEL AIRPLANE NEWS!!!
There was so much more I wanted to say about this Airplane/Radio/Engine combination, but I am limited in the space allocated for a review... I think they even went above the article size guidlines a bit for this one....
I think this is one of the coolest/funnest planes I have flown in ages!!!
Go buy the JUNE 2004 MODEL AIRPLANE NEWS and read the review.... if you have more questions, post'em here and I will try to answer.... but this plane is a HOOT TO FLY!!!!

i just got one of those planes for free, a friend crased his and didnt want it anymore so all i have to do are some minor repairs and it will fly again. any pointers?

I would just suggest that you go with the manual indicated CG and control throws initially... I wrote a review of this model for Model Airplane News, JUNE 2004 issue... http://www.modelairplanenews.com/common/asp/issues/echoissue.asp?issueID=M0406
If you choose to use a large motor such as the OS 160, power management is a must... an OS 108 would also be a great choice.
