Hello... I hope I'm in the right place...
I've heard that ultra small RC planes exist. These planes are probably smaller than a persons hand. Does anyone know where I might be able to aquire or get more information on such planes?
Thank you.

I have an article from S&E Modeler on a company that does a lot of NASA research and Government contracting. I can't recall the name of the company at the moment, but I'll dig the magazine out and get correct info for you. If you happen to have a hobby shop near-by that carries S&E, look through the back issues and you'll see it. The cover photo has a guy holding a GeeBee (I believe) in the palm of his hand. The cool thing about these is that not only are they RC, but they transmit video from an on-board camera back to the pilot's station monitor. They were designed as "forward observers" for military applications.
I'll try to find the mag tonight and get some good details.

I finally remembered it, it was AeroVironment. They have a web site at www.aerovironment.com (http://www.aerovironment.com) with some basic info. Follow the un-manned air vehicle link and look toward the bottom of the page for "Micro Vehicles". Be sure to check out the discovery.com link there also, as it gets a "little bit" more technical.
The only thing that dissapoints me about this site is that they only show the "disc" shaped models. In the mag article i was talking about, they had actual aircraft replica's which were MUCH cooler than the hi-tech stuff they show on their site. Still, if you heard about it, it was these guys, as far as I know, they are the smallest around.
Cheers,
Jason
