Just a heads up here, but I was having trouble getting my P-51 Lite Stick off the ground due to a small lack of power.
Ed Couch suggested that I try the three-bladed prop from Dymond. After changing only the prop, the model shot into the air with power to spare! If you're looking for a little more performance from your GWS motors, this is THE way to get it. And they are less than $3.

Do you know how many amps it draws? The DX-A with a 10x4.7 on 8 cells draws near 2.5 amps. Just wondering if it was more than this.

Actually I haven't checked that yet, I just tried the prop at SWAC and haven't been in my workshop since :(
By the way, that new Tiny of yours looks very nice.

Jason, could you give the part number for that prop? I'm having trouble determining which one it is from Dymond's website. Thanks!

The prop is #22928 3 blade prop for 280 1 mm shaft 9x8 $2.50
You can either get the 1mm shaft hole as shown above and drill it out, or you can get the 6mm hole and put some fuel tubing around the shaft. Either works fine.
Hmmm,
I ordered #22928 from Rc-Dymond.com, and they accidentally sent me #22934. This is three-bladed with the 6mm center hub. There was no problem with size; as you recommended I just put fuel tubing around the shaft. The problem is performance. I don't think it adds much at all to the Lite Stik  ; actually I think the GWS stock prop makes it fly better and with more power. I think this is the root of it:
22928 is 9x8
22934 is "9x4 (Max 2) 9x5"
It looks like yours has more pitch. Would that be it, so I should just order a 22928? BTW, I was wondering what the "(Max 2)" means, and why two sizes are given. Thanks for any input.
Well, I flew it with the three-bladed prop yesterday and today a couple of times, and it does indeed seem to have more power; I get better altitude and good speed. Perhaps I had a bad day or stronger winds the other day. Still, I doubt it will loop. It would "flop" with the GWS prop, and I haven't tried it with the new one yet.

You DEFINITELY want the 9x6 version, I didn't realize that the pitches were diefferent, the guy from Dymond at SWAC told me they were identical.
The power increase should be blatently obvious, with my mustang, it wouldn't ROG with a 10x4.7 and it lept off the ground and required some throttle reduction for me to fly on the Dymond prop. Call a tell them and I bet they'll send you the correct one for free, they are usually great to deal with.

GWS kit contain 10X4.7 prop for Indoor fly. If you want to fly outdoor against little windy, you may choice GWS 9X7 direct replacement for IPS-AX( or AC). Here X is deluxe motor, C is carbon motor; both are perform similar.
However, some flyer they bought inexpensive GWS IPS-B Standard, should use a 9X4.7 or replace 8X6 for outdoor replacement.
GWS also supply a option HEAT-SINK for IPS. Pls try find them from your local dealer. If they did not have them in stock, ask them to get it for you.
Motor run cooler will last longer for its life duration. Also, evry 4 degree motor temperature increased, you will lost 1% torque, yet sucking more current.
Overload too much to IPS gear drive, will cacuse motor over-heat, under long operation without care of high-heat built up inside of motor, possible kill you motor!
Pls check props match information on GWS web-site:

If any diffecult to use GWS IPS, Pls feel free to write us, we are glad to provide the necessary surport by all means.
Good luck and have a nice flight! :)
