Why is there no one but electric parkflyers using this forum? This deal is free!!! as in no $$$$$.... I am confused that no one uses this. I know there are other forums, but this one is easy to use also.... Can someone tell me what the relationship between AirAge Publishing is with this site? Do they own it? or just sponsor? Or just link to it from their web site? I have never seen a mention of this in the magazines.... is it even there? I recently did a Field and Bench for MAN, I think this forum would provide an awesome resource for follow up discussion regarding reviewed models.

Hi,
Airage owns and operates this site. I share your curiosity as to why so few modelers of other walks do not join in. BTW, a nice job on the field and bench.

Hi Dave..... I gather from that you had the opportunity to read it?!?!? (F'n'B) I went through it about 10 times trying to cut the word count and leave the content intact!!! (First draft was almost 4000 words) ... I think I still had it at about 3000 words when I gave it to John. LOL...
What is the opinion of you/AirAge in utilizing this forum for a sort of update location for the various models reviewed? It seems that I continue to gain clues and insight into a plane even many flights later. It could turn into a rock throwing deal so the advertizers may not be too happy... fortunately I have only reviewed planes that were worthy... LOL...

thanks.....

ps... did the "Britney Spears, Janet Jackson, Paris Hilton" get your attention??? LOL

Hi mds,
The title did indeed get my attention! What it had to do with airplanes caused me to jump in and check it out. My take on follow up remarks to a review that are less than flattering could cause some hard feelings in several quarters. Generally, the reviews I have been involved with were submitted by the manufacturer, who are also advertisers for the publication.
It appears that unflattering remarks and outright criticism can come from individuals who are not connected to the publishing industry, but once we put our remarks in print, I would rather stop there, at least publicly. I agree, with continued use and activity beyond the period reasonable for a review, more information comes out, but at this stage it would be more suitable (in my opinion) to pass the word privately.
