Glitching like crazy

My radio starts freakin out when i put it on the Starter box or when it comes in to contact with my glo starter, it starts glitchin to the max. it will swing the servo's from idle to wot and the tires from straight to the left or right, i dunno whats wrong, i just replaced batts in my transmitter and my receiever, anyone know what could be happening here?

^ ^ When I first got into nitro ground vehicles I had a problem with that with one, the trouble was it would do it at undetermined times and on the track, performing a runaway (but since the wheel locked to one side it was a circle.)

At first I thought it was the radio, but when I took the radio out and put it in an electric, it was fine.

Turned out to be something wrong with the crystals, cracked or something. Try borrowing or buying another set on a different channel.

metal on metal contact that's not a constant contact that doesn't move causes interference on our little cars. Basically, if it works fine otherwise, don't worry about it too much unless it's actually imparing your abilities to start the car. Then I'd try what rockinbill said and check the crystals. If that doesn't work, try the receiver. If that still doesn't work, replace the entire radio to see if it still does it to the degree that it was doing it. It shouldn't be so bad that you can't start the car without having a runaway on the starter box.
