I've been wondering how much people would pay for an intact original RC 10 chasis. Can anyone help me out with that one?

It really depends on the condition of everything. I've seen them go for as little as $50 all the way up to $300+ depending on condition.

That really doesn't look like an RC10. If anything, I'd say it was an older Traxxas car.

post some pics of it clean and completely rtr (tires etc) you would get more offers if it was clean, and post it in the buy sell threads.

It looks like an old traxxas car. Clean it so we know what it is.

That's a Traxxas Rad2, or Radicator 2, which looked like a pretty stout buggy back in the early 90s, especially for the price at the time. There was also a truck version, the Hawk 2.

An Asso RC10 has a pretty distinctive design !
White nylon parts, specific metal front unit, distinctive body and drive train to say the most

Here's a shot from Tanatwo's TIME TUNNEL showroom
(Not the very first version I think)

No, that's not an original: It's either an RC10 CE, the budget version of the Team Car here in the states, or the RC10FX, a lightly pared-down version of the Team Car sold in Japan (The Yokomo rear wheels give me the impression it could be Japanese).

This is the original RC10:

It was actually quite similar to even the last tub-chassis car, the Worlds Car around 1994/95: The front suspension arms and shock tower evolved, the tranny was replaced, new wheels and tires, and many of the little bits and pieces were upgraded over time, but all the parts will fit almost all other cars with some effort. You could keep an original 1984 RC10 running today.

Thanks Steve
The first version was very semi-scale !

Here's a graphite version / 1989 if data were correct

No kidding there, Madlux! Compare the pics of the RC10 to the ones posted by serpent69. The chassis look nothing like each other. The rear axles are definitely Traxxas and the gearbox looks quite similar to the one on the Rusty/Pede. I'm with SteveK on this one for sure.

What's with all this "owned" crap lately? It reeks of flame-war computer mod sites. This is RC stuff, where guys are usually much more gentlemanly.

awesome, thanks alot. i didn't know what the heck it was, no logos, or brands on any parts of it. i just assumed it was an old associated, so anyways, how much do you think its worth? i took the motor out, and inspected it, it runs and then i put it all back together, the esc is so old, it's got a fuse in it.  :)

You might be able to get someone to take it off your hands for $20 to $30 bucks. It is pretty much junk. No offense, just telling you like it is.
