I have a schulze 18.61 that burned up that I bought from a friend (Aka Soya) for $100 with a Hacker B40 s8 motor. If I send the controller back to Schulze I would get a 30% refund on the 18.61
so I get $57 dollars back. I would then buy the 18.61K for $115. I want a reliable esc for under $200 that has the same outputs and power ratings as the 18.61k but with a better exchange if this one ever burns again. So I guess I'm asking is if I can get a better deal some where else. Do other brand escs offer better exchange deals?

Right now, a sensorless controller, just get it exchanged and get the 18.61K.

In the next few months, castle creations will release the mamba 80 and castle creations definitely has WAY better trade in value/service/turn around time - they're here in the good ol USA.

I have been running the Castle Creations Beta version of the Mamba for micro cars on my Xray. Excellent controller and company. Looking forward to their new 1:10 scale oriented products. Great customer relations...

Optiman, you really are up to par on your Brushless systems. ;)
