I managed to get one of the new GWS Tiger Moth's a little ahead of schedule through the generousity of Bob Wilder and "Mr. GWS" himself at the SWAC show.

I just completed it and took it out to the parking lot for a test flight. MAN what an airplane :D It comes with the carbon brushed "A" motor and a 9x7 prop which provides PLENTY of power, mine lifted off in about 4 feet, and that's with no exageration. It required a little down trim and a click or two of left to get it going straight and level, but after that, it did what I told it too. It will almost loop from level flight...it did go over, but was more of a stall than loop. Trade a little altitude for speed though, and over she goes! I haven't tried it yet, but I think it will loop indoors. It also does a nice hammer-head / stall turn.

I dropped the throttle back to 50% and it held altitude fine. It slows down very nicely and floats along like the real thing. If you happen to stall it, which of course I would NEVER do, it drops the nose only, not a wing tip. I won't tell you how I know that
:)

All in all, this thing is great. I think i overheard the price to be around $49 and they should start showing up at your local hobby shop very soon. At that price, I'll be i get another one, well worth the money. http://www.millenniumproductions.com/tiger.jpg
