stripped a scew on the side of 2.5 carb?

hey guys,
i just got my p/s back from osrocket,,, and i took the whole 2.5 motor apart..and cleaned it all out etc etc..

and when i started breaking down the carb assembly i noticed that the screw/cap below the HIGH speed needle was stripped?? and of course im pissed...

and i want a quick fix cause im not going to buy a new carb body...

cant i just get another machine screw thats slightly larger and make new threads in the plastic body?

When I busted my 2.5 carb I used some tire glue to put it back together and it worked fine. I also ended up stripping my caps so I just put a small bead of CA around the threads in the middle and it has held up okay, and I can screw it in and out again.
I have since bought a new carb since then though, so I couldnt tell you how long it would last. :confused:

I'm sure someone else has a better opinion on this. ;)
