what are the best racing tires for the savage?i was lookin at the HPIRacing dirt bonz.are they any good?

try bow ties but it really depends on track type.

Proline bowties / dirt bonz have a very similar tread pattern, and work well on packed surfaces. TRC micros good on packed stuff too. For more loamy conditions, try something like proline's maxx mulcher, panther's meat grinder, or TRC paqman...

Dont the dirt bones from hpi have a a bigger diameter(rims+wheels) than the normal bowties. Int he pic it makes them look much taller than normal racing tires, kinda like how their stock tires are taller than the stock tmaxx tires.

Yes, the bonz are a little bit taller than the bowties.
Another good investment when you get your new tires is the trinity 3 piece foams... they're stiff on the outer edges and soft in the middle. They prevent the sidewalls of the tires from rolling under.

I have the Traxxas Sportmaxx tires. They are the best investment I have made for my truck yet! Plus, they come with the 3 piece foams.
