Did anybody see this truck in the RC Car magazine?
Looks like a Savage!!
It's made by Power Racing Products.
I've tried to find info on the net, but found nothing.

The truck looks good, i think it's identical to the Savage, but that's my opinion.

If anybody has more info, post it :D

I managed to find the Power Racing Products site, which is part of Horizon Hobby apparently. I didn't see anything on there about this, though it sounds to me like it's an aftermarket kit for the Savage (a la TruckZilla) or something.

I didn't buy this month's R/C Car. It looked pretty boring when I quickly browsed it at the store.

It was in the News section of the magazine.
It was no upgrade kit.

It says it's going to come with a .27 engine, and nobby tires.
Plus, it looked like it had aluminum shocks :D

I'll have to buy the magazine.

I bought the magazine, it's on page 16 & 17.

It says it's scheduled to be in hobby shops sometime during the 1st quarter, and should carry a street price below $400.

Features:
A .27 rear-port pull-start engine
Tuned pipe and header
Super large 250cc fuel tank

The truck in the pic has aluminum threaded shocks :cool:

It's not even close to the cen truck, it looks like a Savage :D

Just a thought, but if it appears in the april edition of R/C Car, it might just be an April trick! (you all have heard of April 1st huh?)

They changed the name to Raptor. Its as close to the Savage as the Swift buggy is to the MBX4/MBX5 buggy. Close but not identical. I guess they would rather copy the Savage than copy the Tmaxx. Some will say there are only two designs you can go with, Savage or Maxx. I used to think that until I saw the Losi LST, now that is a breath of fresh air, regardless of how it performs.

Too bad I didn't win the name contest for the Raptor, I would have like to have one... I wanted to call it the Carnage SK (Savage Killer), but now that Losi has unveiled the LST, I'm saving up for it instead... I wonder when the LST will hit the stores?

If there Ravage (How can they get away with that?!) is anything like their Swift, Stay away from it like a bad smell.

I think that might be why they changed the name to Raptor. Avoiding lawsuits is always a good idea.
