Does anyone have any info on the Hacker Master Car Competition Controller?
Timeing & Amp settings
Cont. & Peak Amps
.............................................
Also the BEC should be the same so i was woundering how many Volts/Cells i can hook up to it and still have use of the BEC?

I thought Hacker discontinued the Master Comp and Sport ESCs until further notice.
Get a Schulze ESC.

no, they are on backorder, and being redesining the controllers, should be ready for sale in 90-120 days, or so i was told by Billy Fischer, at Hacker Brushless USA ...
im in no rush since i have my Aveox system, but when hacker does finaly release the master comp. , ill be sellng my Aveox, right now my cusin is selling his , but he has a old novak cyclone/lots of old brushed motor, where i do not since i got rid of all mine so i need my Aveox for now......;)
What other controllers have a heatsink, and mabey a case, and can run 30mins+ without thermaling?
i like the Hacker comp, cus it has 90amps conts. and 120 peak are there any others out there, ive heard of the U-Force but im worried cus it has 75amps conts. and i think it would thermal, if i was running a 8000mah. 7.4v lipo pack, in the the summer 90+ heat in florida:( :( :(

I also have a couple of Schulze 18.61K ("K" means heat sink) that can handle the runtime in my T-4, but I also I think it is alot smoother, more adjustable and cheaper ESC than my Hacker Master Comp that has throttle and brake controls like an on/off switch.
You will be satisfied with the Schulze ESCs and I guess the only thing I don't like is having to use a BEC or a reciever pack, but you use more than 8 cells on the Master Comp you have to cut the BEC wire to get it to work.
I just switched out the Master Comp in my 1/8th scale for a Schulze 18.97KFW ESC that has a big heat sink and is alot more adjustable with the throttle and brake. It can also handle up to 18 cells versus the MC limit of 12 cells.

How much bigger is the Schulze 18.97KFW then the Schulze 18.61K ? e.i. will the 18.97KFW fit in a T4?
Im takeing the Schulze into consideration, hmmm...
U-Force 75
18.61k
18.97kfw
Hacker Master Comp.
Anyone eles with a Schulze, what are your thoughts on it?
Witch one do u have?

The 18.97KWF is the same size except the heat sinks are about twice as tall and the diodes on the end are bigger, but if it is going in a T-4, I use the 18.61K in mine and my XXX-4 with both having a Lehner 4200 and 5300 motors that I have not had any problems thermalling as long as it is geared right.
The 18.97KWF would be alot of overkill in the T-4 because it is meant to be mounted in E-Maxx's with 2 motors or 1 big one in my case with up to 18 cells of battery voltage.
The Schulze is alot smoother ESC, but you will need either a reciever battery pack or add a BEC. Also the Schulze does not work with the Futaba HRS reciever, but it will work with the PCM and PPM recievers.

I have already tested the new Prototype Hacker esc, wich is around 30% smaller and has 5-10cells, with 4,8,16 Khz settings instead of up to 32 Khz (wich wasn´t used in the cars, as it was too indirect in the feeling) and then:
it IS (or will be) waterproved !! (totally enclosed esc, with a aluminium case !!
(see pic (next one will be in a F 201 Chassis) with the comparison of a Warrior 7018 BEC and the white paper is a Hacker Master Comp. (the new one is the comp. version either buit the BEC is much better, you really could use it even under high Amp draw (i tested it in "only four different cars and setups, my other cars cannot drive with it, as they´re mostly 8th or up (to 5th !!)) and then you´ll not use 10 cells (maybe 12 or 18 so do i )

Here is the Esc in my totally re-built F201 Chassis (my last testing car,. the esc is still in there !!)
(the Amp settings are better too, there is a better selection of the Amp setup points, better suitable for all 10th sedans (or any 6 cell car) (due to the "only" 10 cell limitation this esc comes in handy when it is used in any 10th scale car (or a 8th but then only 10 cells wich is mostly not enough, 12 is OK, and is cheap too, you only need 2 packs in series, that´s it, it really has enough power, check this out too: www.coldfusionracing.com/8ths then click away to the members rides, there are many conversions !!
