Ok, ok, lol, the red thing is the cantelever right? and the blue is the chassis? I've seen it where some after market clods have 8 shocks. One is between the axle, and cantelever, and the other is between the cantelever, and the chassis, which is the blue thing right? Yeah, If that's what you're talking about, its been done, but only as an aftermarket deal. The picture of the pro X factor had 8 shocks like that. It gives it tons of travel too.

Think of it for the manufacturer. Most of the 8 shock trucks today are plastic. The cost of 8 shocks for them is more than 4. Also, you don't need 8, since the truck doesn't really ever use all that articulation. Also, is that your truck? Having 4 shocks, on that style of suspension, makes it more predictable, since one side could use too much articulation all at once, and it's harder to tune the 8 shocks. One plus though is that you can make is like dual rate. (one shock stiffer than the other.)

*sigh*... no, unfortunately that aint my truck :(

but ya I get your point... I was just thinking the extra articulation will help.

Yeah, the articulation for rock crawling would be very nice, but only for that. It wouldn't be the best for high speed:eek: but I guess if you wanted a rock dedicated monster, go for the 8 shocks. It would be very nice if the manufacturers made a truck just fro crawling. HINT HINT Tamiya! lol!:D
