You can pick up small fans from Radio Shack.
There are really two ways you can hook them up. One you can splice a receiver plug onto the + and - wires on the fan and plug it into the battery terminal of the receiver (assuming you are not running a receiver battery). The other would be to hook it up directly to the battery connection.
The first way would give juice to the fan once the ESC was turned on. The second would have the fan on the whole time the battery was attached to the ESC.

Will the fan spin at different speeds depending on which one you hook it up to by how much voltage the output?
Isn't the reciever at 5 or 6 volts versus the battery at 7.4 or for my buggy it is 14.8 or 22.2 volts?
you can buy a 4 aa battery holder or use the one that came with your radio. get a 5 volt fan and hook up a switch. or even a receiver pack that you can recharge. those small fans come with a bearing type or coreless.

Generally your receiver will receive between 5 and 6 volts depending on how the BEC is set up. If you hook it up to the battery it's voltage will vary depending on the pack voltage. At the start of the charge it could be as high as 9 volts and at the end as low as 6 volts.
If you want more consistant performance and higher fan speeds make a 9v battery holder and hook the fan up to the 9v battery. This set up however will add a bit of weight and complexity to an already stuffed chassis, but by using the 9v battey it will be much lighter than a 4AA cell set up.

i was thinking of adding a 9v battery, but im going to be getting rc incar camra an that takes a 9v battery so , im left with hooking it too the car battery or the reciver...
if hooked to the reciever will my high torque servo still get enuff juice?

Yes, your servo should still get enough juice. A small fan doesn't have much of an amp draw so you should be OK hooking it up to the receiver.

What I did is get a cpu fan, three wire, 2x2 and wired a plug and plugged it into the third channel. Since I am not racing (no brushless classes) I don't need a transponder. The amp and fan speed is low but enough to cool the esc. My Novak was reaching 200 + degrees before the fan. Now it is luke warm to warm.
