5300 esc will not turn off

i ran my 5300 3 batteies and now esc won't turn off had it on number 6 slower speed anyone else have this problem says that esc is burnt ..but it still functions propery otherwise is ithis a programming thing?

I was told you need to un-plug the ESC from the reciever when not in use.

does this fix the problem or is this a perminate problem ,wiht no batter attached i do not quite understand that logic?

talked to steve at novak he said they got some faulty switches in and thought that they got them all........i took the switch apart and it had some fine medal shaving in it ,blew it out wiht some clean air and bingo ..works like new.....hope this helps somone down the line.... :)
