Hi all. Im new to the heli world, but im looking at the JR Venture CP .30 size heli and the JR Electric heli. Now I've been playing RC Stunt Chopper for the Playstaion and i got the dual shock controlers witch kinda reperents the flight sticks of a radio, KiNDA.. any ways, im getting the great planes sim, and also a futaba 9CH radio.. but the thing that is bugging me is... I know how to get an electric one off the ground, but how do you start an gas powered heli, is there a video out there that i can download or a manual?? im lost with this, sounds dumb, but thats what im getting to, to start a gas powered heli.. thanks, sorry for the long typing, newbie here :D

some nitro helis have a metal cone that protrudes through the frame and you will have to purchase one of these to start it http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXJC35&P=ML while other helis have a v groove cut in the fly wheel and youll need the same style starter to start it. there is a belt im not sure what it is made from but it is routed around the fly wheel the looped around the starter shaft then pulled tight and when the engine starts you just let go of the belt and it raps around the fly wheel in such a manner that it doesnt get damaged im not sure how it does it.

im not one hundered percent but i think there are even some pull start heli motors which use like a lawn mower recoil starter thats attached to the crank case of the motor.
