I want to hear your opinions as to whether it is fair to race in the Stock Truck class with a Novak SS set on the Limited Profile. Let's hear em'!

Generally speaking the Novak is going to be a little faster. Top speed compared to a well tuned 27 turn stocker is going to be similar and actually the brushed motor may be just a bit faster.
The difference is in acceleration, the Novak will be a lot quicker due to the increased torque over a 27 turn stock class motor.
If you are noticibly faster than a stock class and others complain about it you can make some changes to equal the motors. The easiest is to gear down a bit to where the top speeds are the same. You can aldo change your end point settings.
For the most part they should be close enough that driving will make more of a difference than the motor.

Thats right it is very closely matched to a competition stock motor.

IMO, the 5800 is way too fast to be fair in stock class... there are guys at my track tha trun mod class with the Novak in the limited profile, and geraed up several teeth. We have found it's nearly as fast as unlimited, but with reduced torque.
That's not fair and it will be obvious if you gear up.... it runs like a mod either way.
Maybe the "stock" Novak (4200?) is fine for stock class...
