Hey guys,
I have a 1/10th, Losi xxx bk2, with a Lehner 4200 basic motor & Schultze 18.16K ESC.

I would like to try a Li-Poly pack and see how they perform. I do have a couple of Triton chargers.
Thought it would work out good to have a Li-Poly charged the nite before for my first pack to run, while I'm charging up my 6 cell Ni-mhs.

Appreciate any suggestion on what to use, or any other pros or cons.

What might I be looking at for run times?

I know there's alot of info thats been talked about, thought someone could get me the best set-up for my buggy & system.

Hey Craps, seen some of your post, sounds like your the man to talk to,
if you want to talk of the list, send me email. djunruh@qtm.net

Thanks alot,

If you can gear it till it stops thermalling, you can probably get around 35 minutes with the TP8000-2S4P battery and around 25 minutes with the TP6000-2S4P battery.

Now to gear it with a larger pinion to make it more drivable in a 5 minute race will be alot different than trying to run for 20+ minutes. I run about 2 pinion teeth higher for the 5 minute race than I would for a 20 minute race due to thermalling of the Schulze/Lehner setup in around 10 minutes.

The thermalling of the system on long runs is going to have alot of varibles that affect it like weather, track type/size and track conditions. You have do some testing to find out what runtime versus thermalling you want in relation to track times.
