hi! can i use a MAC .19-.25 muffled tune pipe to a OS .12 or .15 CV-RX?
will it be ok to use a tuned pipe for a larger engine?
thanks!

Too big, use their smaller one, part number 1110. It works great on .12-.15 boats. They have a muffled version also but the one above isn't noisy. Street price at around $27.00 . Look in the airplane area of their site for it.

I've found great success with an Associated RC high RPM pipe for cars. It ran something like $11 and added a VERY noticable boost in the high end.

hi! what would happen if a used the bigger size muffled tune pipe? tower doesn't carry the .15 size.. they only have a tuned pipe..
one more thing, is there a considerable noise level difference between the tuned pipe, and the muffled tuned pipe? thanks!

A pipe for a larger motor won't work with the small motor you're talking about using. Even when you use the proper tuned pipe, how long you set it will affect how the motor runs. There is an article in the latest RCBM on tuned pipes and how to set them up. I recomend you read it, as it may help you understand how and why a tuned pipe works. I'm sure that others on this site will tell you the same thing. I'm also thinking you will have to go to more than one location to get all the parts you need, as Tower doesn't carry nearly enough items for boats to make it a one stop shopping site :(
