just got savage .25 for x-mas and it sux!!!the brakes dont work the steering is horrible!!!!!its horrible!!!!!!theres no way 2 fix it!!!!!!!!im guna send it back to hpi and get a t-maxx instead!!!!!!

have you considered getting the monster pirate servo saver kit?
ive heard it fixes all probs with steering... :)

brakes and steerign can be fixed cheaply and easily, so dont post lies saying tehre is no way to fix it

the savage .25 is an awesome truck, much better than the Tmaxx I have owned both

Have you read the manual. It tells you how to give it more braking.And as for the steering you probably stripped the servo saver. I guess you will have to change your name if you get a t maxx.

go here http://www.radiocontrolzone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=162220. the MP servo saver mod will fix your steering, and the buggy slider mod will give you better stock brakes. and the links in that thread are to very detailed instructions.

As mentioned the above problems can be solved relatively easily and cheaply, Believe you me with a T-Maxx you wont be any better off, MT's aren't meant to handle like 1/8 Buggy's, So don't expect them to.

I know there has been times were I would like to have posted "My T-Maxx Suxxs" just cause this hobby gets frustrating some times. I know how that stuff can go, just be patient and slowly asess your problem, fix it, and you will still like your Savage.

You're so right MaxxGT23! I'm in frustration mode right now, mostly due to my RC10GT. I know it's a great truck and all, but right now I'm about ready to dump it and get another Savage!

guys rcsavage is my lil brother and he gets lyk this everytime something doesnt go his way. just ignore him b/c i have offered 2 fix his truck numerous times and he just says it junk and doesnt work. oh and by the way i have a t-maxx and i think you are better off with a t-maxx
