sure. they're gigantic tires, IE: gigantic baloons or rafts IE: they float
Assumign they're watertight, they should float a truck.

I saw that in readers rides. He drove it around the pool. But he had an emaxx, how much heavier is the savage?

y dont u take ur savage off a jump into the pool and see if it floats...and if not then its time 4 a new truck :D

if you want it to float you will have to completely airtight them. that's including closing the tiny holes in the rims with something and putting CA on the outside and inside edge of your tyres.
but i'm still not sure if it will work, the savage is about 2lb heavier than the E. (i think)

I wouldn't chance it. If you seal up your tires then they will suck on land.

good point, you could maybe seal them and later "unseal" them when you are done hydroplaning.

I drive my txt-1 in the detroit river all the time with just the stock tires on. Just make sure you seal your tires very well and just use some screws with rubber O-rings on them and screw them into the air holes. Works great.
