do you guys discharge them after use? what do u use to discarge them? or is it ok to leave em charged?

I use home made 6v 1600mah NIMH flat packs. They cost me less than $4 per pack and they don't need to be discharged. I have 4 of them and they last me for around 3-4 hours of use depending on the vehicle. If I use all 4 I can go the whole day without worries and then I just top them up overnight.

Nicads are a different story. As long as you run them down quite well you should only need to cycle them once every 4 or 5 charges. Of course if you are racing you would want to make sure that you have the best charge for each race.
