Should i put a hood scoop over the carb hole on my nitro hammer???

Im deciding whether or not to put a hood scoop over the carb hole on my nitro hammer do you think it will help or just a waste of time?? :confused: :D

i would do it. I've done it to mine. Haven't tested it yet but looks better than just a hole in your hatch. Should help direct the air flow too. pics will come.

Run it with and without the top hatch, compare the speed difference and you would get your answer.

The disadvantage is sometimes water might get into the carb. and stall the engine.

Point the scoop towards the back of the boat. It wont suck in the water as bad.
