Congratulations on your purchase!! Be sure to read the manual for the maxx about seven times before break in, then when you get ready for break in, take a break and read the manual again. When you get done reading the manual, read it again. After all that, watch the dvd a few times and read the manual again! Follow the break in procedure to the letter, don't try anything funny while breaking in your maxx, and be sure to read the manual! Enjoy it!!

If you have the money to buy some hopups right off the batt. get a high torque servo to replace the steering servo. and then get a front and rear set of bulkheads from American CNC (http://www.acncm.com/) and a full set of 4 packages of rpm arms and 2 packages of rpm shocktower/body mounts. Then use the original arms as backup for when or if you break an rpm arm or bodymount or shocktower. That stuff right off the batt will keep you up and running. but it's also a good amount of money to drop right after you dropped that much on a new tmaxx.

I think hats just a bit too excessive lol. Read the manuel once maby twice and break it in according to the manuel. Good luck with the maxx.

Break it in and enjoy it! Thats all. If your not hitting curbs, cars, poles or cartwheeling the triples, lol, you won't break all those parts. Spend on the Raytech temp gun and keep the motor under 275 deg.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it! Just clean it & clean the air filter too(& re-oil it).
Edit: If your racing you'll probably need ALL those parts. :)

Thanx a bunch guys. Can i run trinty monsterhorse power 20% fuel in the truck or do i have to run traxxas fuel. I really dont like traxxas's fuel. Will it be harder to tune running a differnt fuel

Alright, maybe I was a bit excessive, but I am always having to fix problems or answer questions(around here) regarding the maxx that are easily found and answered in the manual, e.g. why my truck won't shift into second, why does my truck bog down on take off, etc. All I am saying is that the info that comes with the maxx contains just bout everything you need to know from break in to tuning for preformance. As far as anything else, like others have said, replace after its broken and enjoy!!

Use whichever fuel is in stock regularly at your lhs. They're all decent. They will tune different if you switch brands. The tuning is you! ;)
Enjoy!

yeah, you can use pretty much every RC fuel. but if you use 20% for some time, dont change to 10% and vice versa.
