I just bought this car, so I thought I would make a thread for it.

damn i wonder why this thread is so dead...it's actually a pretty nice car..took the corners real good..a speed demon to say the least...good for anyone wanting a beginner racer..my friend had one..he's just a casual basher so he beat the crap outta it..and nothing even broke..maybe a cracked battery case but that's it...if you check the website they actually got top honors in the qualifying round(with a bone stock Tr4) but ended up second overall because of a penalty...well anyways..i'm getting one soon..any other guys out there got one?give me some goods and bads and what you think about your Tr4...

I had a tr4 for my first ever rc, my goodness was it crap. I had it back in the LHS almost everytime after i ran it. I know what your thinking it was my first and i probably didnt treat it right, but i really did take care of it and ran it normally. The biggest problem was how the whole car vibrates and the wheels are not real secure. If you take tha car off the ground you will see that you can wiggle the wheels through 2-3 degrees of camber as well as toe in. I now own a CT4-S, and cen has definatly gotten it right with that car! So i sujjest going with the CT4-S... but thats just me

Well i was in Asia when i had it, and it was like 80-85% humidity, and i dont think the fuel was a big name brand, but there is no doubt that the wheels dont seem to be connected correctly. But the TR4 is a nice beginner car, i will give that

ya know..it seems kinda weird but every review i've seen that was from asia was really bad..seems the car would run crappy..parts would break..i really don't see the reason why(could be the fuel but hey..that's why i don't buy airplane fuel or no name stuff)..even with 85 percent humidity...i live in florida and i can tell you it's just as hot if not hotter right now and i have yet to break anything or have it run funny..starts up 2nd pull....flipped it like 4 times already and nothing has broken(kinda too low for casual bashing..you need a reaaaally smooth parking lot)...other then that it's a nice car..just like when i ran it the first time when my friend owned one...the only thing i can agree on is the camber, toe in thing you were talking about..the connection between rods and stuff are kinda loose meaning the alignment and stuff goes weird when you punch the throttle....other then that it's a nice car..i might have to eventually sell it..haven't broken a part yet but once i do i won't be able to find any replacement parts besides the use of online ordering..which i hate....oh well..i got a good deal on it...
