Hey all,
Just wondering right... I have 2x 1800mAH packs and what i need to know is, what is the max rate i can charge them? My charger does 4Amp per hour and it also has a discharge function too. I do know alswell that they have to be cycled every 4-5 charges.

Also how can i stop my boat from bouncing? Trim tabs?
Also will a smaller prop get me to max revs as to the 45mm that i have atm.

You have to help us out a little here . We need more info on what your boat is. I don't know what a atm is. How big is it ,do you use 12 cells in it?What motor do you use? As to your batterys ,four amps should be ok. n.h.schmidt

ATM stands for At The Moment.
boat is scratch built, 500mm(20inch)long with a beam of 200mm(8inch), i have a venom 15 turn double motor, venom 1800Mah battery and a GM V4/r esc, the boat is running a 45mm prop. will a small prop get me to max revs with reletively the same speed or faster but at the same time being under less load draw less amps from the battery which therefore reduces heat in the esc.
P.S i am planning to add water cooling to the esc and i plan to add 30mm(1.2inch)trim tabs to the rear of the boat to stabilse it.
Thanks

Hi Mr-Diy
That helps a lot .The boat size is good for that motor . Is it light ?Surface drive? With a direct drive motor on six cells you are running a way too large prop. Something from a 31mm to 35mm max is much better.what size is your prop shaft? 1/8" or maybe 4mm? Many props can work for your boat but, you may have to order them. I can advise on some of them when you tell us more. n.h.schmidt

n.h.schmidt,
The boat is a light weight fibreglass running direct 4mm shaft with dog drive.
