I have a Stubenfliege with 1717 motor. I fly with 8-50 milamp cells for 9.6 volts and instructions say this comes out to .6 amps to motor. If I were to use 8-110 milamp cells (still at 9.6 volts) will the amps go up or just the duration because of the larger cells? And with CR2 lithium 3 volt cells I have 9 volts but how do I find the amos to stay below the 1.0 amp motor rating limit? Thanks.

the amps will remain the same with the larger 9.6 volt pack but the duration will increase. As for the 9 volt lithium pack, as volts decrease so do amps so you will again see slightly longer duration but because of the lower voltage your motor won't run as fast ( probably not noticable without a tach)
