I was wondering whether it is by any way possible to convert a E-Maxx to a T-Maxx? (stock factory parts only - no aftermarket conversion)

Besides the obvious pullstart engine, what other parts would be required to make a complete conversion?

Would the conversion be too expensive? I am speculating in the pricepoint region of at least U$200 incl. an engine.

the transmissions are different. and you need a motor.
used trans if you can find one. $100.00
motor new $100.00 plus
those are U.S. going prices.
if there is not a good supplier of the tmaxx parts near by it will most likely cost tomuch and take too long getting the parts.
just buy another truck. put batteries in and fuel it up.

You would be better off buying a whole new T-maxx.

Dont forget clutch, clutch bell, air filter, fuel tank, reverse servo, reciever, exhust manifold and gasket, exhaust pipe, EZstart or Pull start, etc etc etc..... Unless you get everything for next to nothing you would be much better off selling the E and buying a T.

.......in addition to what others said you have to flip the diffs. One of my tmaxxes started as an emaxx. ;)

You need:

Chassis plate
You will need the throttle bell crank if your using a 2.5 or any engine with a slide vavle carb
Throttle linkages
steering post spacers
Tmaxx tranny, including brakes, shift linkage, center drive shafts, and brake linkage, brake cam with the peg
engine, motor mount, clutch bell, clutch shoes, clutch springs
exhaust header, tuned pipe
throttle servo mounts, steering/reverse servo mounts
fuel tank
battery box, reciever box

I think thats it.
