I have been calling around to some of the dealers listed on CEN's website and none of them carry their products anymore. They say it mainly is because it takes forever to get replacement parts from them. I would possibly like to get the new truck, but am having second thoughts now because of this. What do some of the rest of you think? Does anyone know anything about CEN? Thanks, Bruce

The Genesis looks like a great truck, and I was very interested in it at one point. But CEN is taking too long to get it out. And now with Losi releasing their new truck within the next couple months...I think the Genesis will get overshadowed.

I'd go with something else if you can't find parts for it easily. No offence to Cen, but its like the truck was built with the theory of 'bigger (or more) is better' .46 engine, 7in tires, 10 shocks, etc

Yeah, I would way rather have the LST or the Revo. All of the Genesis parts look Wal-Mart style.

previous experience with cen only shows their trucks arent nothing but a pile of plastic. dont waste your time on them.

WOW, I havent checked in here for some time but a few month ago this place was going crazy for the new CEN Genesis. Seems like the craze has burned out a bit and CEN is going to get is ass handed to it again due to a poor launch. I dont know why they let the cat out of the bag so long ago and then not release the truck for months.

if the truck is really something, people will hear about it and the release date would not be a problem. but yes, it's still stupid on their part to wait.

How so? No one but the Cen people know the performance of the Genesis.
All we really have been lead to believe is the performance is better than that of the Cen MT2 and the MT2 has a national championship to its credit.
So no one can say the losi, savage or maxx is better yet.

Especially the Losi, because that isn't out yet either. The same goes for the REVO

Very true, but like someone else said, the theme of the Genesis seems to be "bigger is better".

and bigger usually breaks more and costs more to fix.

i think they waited so that they could possibly outsell the revo and lst and that would prove that they know what there doin. but i dont tht will happen

I don't think so either. I believe the Revo and LST sales will be equal at first and then it will lean towards, of course, the better performer for top sales.
