Whay speeds can you expect to get out of the Miss Bud 1/8. I have the G26 engine. Magazine article I read said 35mph with the G23. can you expect 40-45 mph?

The 260 zenoah Will push the Miss Bud 40 - 45 with the prather 275 prop,Gps Tested Myself.Very unlikely you will be able to keep boat stable with that prop unless you remove the front Canard.Look Back at the pics I posted A day ago. They show how she runs without the front canard. There has been alot of discussion on this in the thread titled Miss Bud Balance point.Check it out.You will find how the canard deal came into play

When you remove the front canard, does it take a lot of strength away from the boat ? Do you just fiberglass over where you cut it off from. Have you had any luck matching up paint colour. Is this boat painted, or is it gel coat.
Thanks werner
