- i was wondering if these "nylon" wheels are going to be any toughter??

- do i just stick the tyres with CA still?

- thanks daniel

I don't think they'll nessecarily be all that much strong than the stock wheels, but they do look pretty nice. And yes just CA them like you would any tire

Nylon wheels are better than standard plastic wheels because they will flex and not break as easily. Plastic wheels will just crack and bust.

nylon wheels are just as strong as plastic, I doubt you will feel a difference. but what were you doing with them? how do you bust 3 pairs so fast?

well, im just jumping the truck, and somtimes when i land badly, the front wheels crack :( - also, it got a set (4) of silver wheels that where white (not black) underneath, and they where Very Weak!! - so after to broke (within minutes) - i chucked the other two :S - so i guess i only broke 8 so far

the color of the wheels has nothing to do with their strength.

If by Max ST you mean Duratrax Maximum ST, then yes, they do come with hard plastic wheels that break easily. As mentioned, nylon wheels have a little flex to them, which helps a lot. The HPI wheels you linked to are great. I'm partial to HPI rims when it comes to 2.2 size. They include adapters so you can run them on pretty much any truck that uses 2.2 wheels and the nylon is very durable. I have yet to break one of those and I put my E-Pede through pure hell. I think you made a great choice!

Great! What tires are you planning on going with? Seeing that it's a Max ST, if you can get Pro-Line tires for a decent price where you are, the Masher 2000s are superb bashing tires.

Of course, for our help, you will have to post pictures of your truck when you get the new rims and meats added. You did know that, didn't you? ;)
