any recomendations, i am fond of a savage-ss but an older t-maxx costs a lot less, what about its power?

second anyone know factory settings on low idle needle for hot-bodies .26 bb engine? kept over revving when i start and it has cost me 56$ in parts so far i fixed all else but low needle is still a poroblem

Since it is the old Maxx you are comparing, I would deffinitly go with the Savage SS. Alot more power and wider stance. As with more durablity.

The old Maxx isn't comparable to any of the newer MTs, you need a 2.5 T-Maxx to hang with the other newer trucks out there (Savage, MGT, LST, etc.).

I prefer the Savage over the newer Maxxes, so you can imagine I'd STRONGLY recommend it over an older Maxx! There's a reason it's a lot cheaper.

The Savage's S-25 engine isn't top-notch, but it's pretty darn powerful.
