I have a week old 4 tec and ever since i got the steering has been screwy. After i make a left turn it curves to the right and after i make a right turn it curves to the left. The steering trim doesnt help, and ive tried everything i can think of. If any one has a suggestion id love to hear it...

so if you turn the wheel on your transmitter to the right, the car goes to the left? so you have to reverse your servo. find a switch or look for servo reverse in you transmitter menu. it should be somewhere in there.

Sorry, i should have said this better. It turns the right way, but after i let off the steering the car will begin to curve the oppisite way that i turned.

Am I the only one who has had this problem?

It sounds like it is either the servo or the steering linkage. Disconnect the servo from the linkage and try operating it with the radio, see if everything returns to normal. Also check that the servo saver/arm isn't binding against the servo case.
If you have a second servo, say from the mechanical speed control, try that in the steering at least as a test. A new basic servo would be less than $15 if you need a new one, or you could swap in one from the MSC (If you use it) and get an inexpensive electronic speed control and get better performance too.
While the servo is disconnected, try swinging the linkage left and right and see if there is any binding there.

tec 41.. i have a 4tec.. when you turn right or left does it stick? if it does just loosen the screws on the bottom of the chassis so the steering doesnt stick.

It doesnt quite stick, but lets say i make a left turn. I then stop turning so the wheels return to the center position only the dont quite go centered. They turn to the center and then some so it ends up curving to the right. Im getting my servo tomorrow, ill see if that solves anything.
