I am really having a hard time in deciding what to do with this weedeater motor that i have. I have been looking for plans to build a big boat for it. I am not sure in which direction to go from here. I want something fast yet sturdy and something that looks GREAT on the water.

The motor is a Eager Beaver I-S manufactured by McCulloch and I cant find any info on this either. It is a strong good running motor.

I love to build things and the kids have a great time in doing this too.

Any info on this would be greatly appreaciated.

Sorry, fast is what you're not going to get with a Mac. They make OK weedeaters (yes, I have one) but they really aren't going to be fast. There are very few parts avalaible compared to other motors like the Homelite and Zenoahs. Marine Specialties has a few things like carbs and motor mounts.
Still, if it's going to be a Dad and the kids project, possibly look in www.rcstore.com for some plans. Jerry dunlap has the Crackerbox plans in there that might be a good choice for a Family project. It's a Driver's boat, so a lot of skills can be learned with it.

Those are still both pretty slow. See if you can find a 25-30cc Homelite. There are a lot of aftermarket parts around for these.
In stock form with the others, you are looking at 17-25 MPH. The Ryobi's, Skill's and Robin's (Robin makes a lot of the "Store name" weed-eaters) aren't the best for several reasons, one of the biggies is the slant-plug head. They are difficult to make a water-cooling jacket for them which is what you need to start extracting speed out of them.

I am thinking about one of the trawlers from the Rcstore bbut what do you think would be the best way for cooling this since it will not have the speed to pick-up the water from a tube. Some kind of pump maybe geared off of the drive train some how. But then just thinking about this i could possabilly make some sort of system to also use this for maybe lets say to troll around the lake and maybe CATCH A FISH TOO!!!!

You can get a vacuum powered pump form such places as www.whobbies.com .As far as trolling for fish with a boat you'd have to check the Laws in your area.
In www.rcboatmodeler.com, they used to have a short video of someone catching a fish with an R/C boat.
