I currently have a pair of B2 motors driving a VL 5.5 inch prop via a 5:1 gear set with dual ball bearings. The generated thrust is definitely on the low side. Can anyone suggest a more appropriate prop for this dual motor and gear setup?
Also, I am planning to use a single B2 motor to drive a VL 4.25 inch prop. Can someone suggest a good gear ratio? I am currently leaning on 3.33:1 (since that is what the gears I have left can do).
