well after hours and hours of exaustive searching and getting opinions from several different boards ive decided im buying a AC Boats Blast Cat

Definatly going with Zenoah 26power

probably going to buy off of rocket city racing (unless anyone thinks otherwise)

ill post pics as soon as i get everything in

im really looking forward to this project

talked to our painters at work and theyre going to mix me some 2004 GM "Sunburst Orange Metallic" im thinking the orange with color changing (purple to green)flames and metallic blue edges and tips on flames(i love to paint stuff)

thanx for everyones help

If I said I'm jealous, I mean it :D

From whats been said, it sounds like an excellent choice. Its a beautiful boat too.

Brian Watts is a good guy to deal with. The new Blast Cat is a rough water hull and that's where it shines. Usually no problem if you are racing it as the water does get stirred up by the time that the clock hits zero.

i emailed the seller asking about it but i figure the boats worth it for the hull and the tuned pipe and all

Not a whole lot of info in there on the boat. I'd be e-mailing him to get more spec's on it. What pipe, hardware, if there is a radio system included and what it is, etc. before going gung-ho on it. He specifies the servos but that's it. I'm not trying to discourage you, but do ask questions. Another big one is an estimate of shipping charges to your Zip code. A lot of eBayers will stab you on shipping if it isn't specified.

I don't own it, I just requested a pic from the owner with the lid installed.

Wish I owned it, but then it wouldn't be up for sale. I asked him about the engine and he said that he was sure of it. You can do an estimate yourself online about the shipping. Just go to the shipping site of your preferance and do an online quote.

Don't start bidding yet. It was a first timer who made that winning bid and may want to back out of it. You are second in line and have the choice of taking it at your price if he does.

well crap

should i email rocket city about a new one or what???

That is the main reason why i wont build my own. I would hate to crash a model I built myself.

well it happens you know

could be worse

last week i put a 4" scratch in my 2 month old 6thousand dollar Snap-On toolbox while i was at work

i knew it was going to happen sooner or later but id rather it was me than someone else

i might have been forced to beat them to death with my BFH :D (Big Fuggin Hammer)

i crash my NTC3 and Savage all the time its no biggie just lets me know which parts i need to upgrade

and dont even get me started on planes

Scott, we won't get you started on planes, that's why I run boats! I got to where I could crash them really good.

Come on guys! Planes are great, Planes are fun, Planes are to the air what a boat is to the water............A HOLE TO THROW MONEY AT!!!!!!!!!!! :D The difference is a crash isn't INSTANT DEATH to a boat  Maybe that's why I'm a Hydro rather than Plane Junkie :D

I've got a Great Planes Flight Simulator with a few add-ons. Thats enough flying for me. Other than that, its on the water.

PLANES DON'T THROW ROOSTER-TAILS !:)
