in the mag page 29 thers the cen hop ups that nx-18 has some sort of starter on it? how does that work? is it better then the belt starter?

Theres two gears One has a one way bearing on it that spins the crank shaft the othe is 90 Degrees to it and is spun by a drill or some rotary tool with the shaft in the picture Same as a pull star exept no puling

If you look closely at the first page you could kinda see the gears. As far as being beter than a belt I haven used either that starter or the belt so i dont know.

That's the Tiger Drive that Ron & I have been talking about. You can get it from Sullivan - I think Tower carries it.

I got one for my son's XTM X-Cellerator. It works very well and has a lifetime guarrantee. We broke ours the first day, I sent it back to them as it was the first one that had broken. Not only did they send me a replacement but a prototype of a better one that they are developing! I got tired of dumping $20.00 for a replacement pull starter to have the springs keep breaking every few weeks.
You can use a battery operated drill to start it, I got one really cheap from Harbor Freight with a charger for less than $15.00, cheaper than the HPI. You'll need a 7/32" allen wrench (a long one cut off will do) to put in the drill to crank it over.

cant u use the starter u use for a belt just put that tool on to that? if so ill get one and do that they make em for cen .16 engines?

Nope. They haven't made one big enough yet to crank over a Zen.
