Hey guys, can anyone out there tell me a good range (in turns or sound) to leave the idle on the miss bud for the best performance? When I set it too low, it dies in sharp turns, too high and it tends to cavitate and have sluggish throttle response...can't seem to find a happy medium.
Thanks

Scott

somtimes you have to adjust the low or high speed needles for this type of problem. if it idles and responds ok out of water check your high speed needle settings.

The Miss Bud will cavitate, it's a known problem with that plastic prop, try an Octura Y-535. It also idles quite high. What you're looking for is good throttle response in the water with a healthy dose of exhaust smoke. Don't worry too much about idle, it'll only be idling when you're putting the cowl back on.
