I got this boat off ebay for $40 shipped. It came with 2 sanyo 1700 batts, motor, reversible esc and radio and I thought it was a steal just for the electronics alone. Does anyone know the model or manufacturer of the boat, thanks. The files can be seen at the following address. I'm not sure if the links work, you might need to copy and paste the address.

I've seen it in RCBM in ads towards the back of some older issues. I'm not sure who sold it. It seems like it is a Hi-Tec or Hobbico. I'll have to do some digging.

Speaking of 'what boat is this'. Hey Ron, what boat was that I got from you? It's looking good, but still have a lot more to do. I've reglassed the inside of the seams, cleaned the outside of the seams, & mounted an OS outboard. I still have to do the trim tabs & the radio gear. Then take it all apart & paint it. It looks sharp though!

You got me! I bought it off eBay from a person in Texas. That hull was sitting in my basement for at least 3 years.
I found the boat! I just dug through my "Library" of old RCBM's and found it in the April 1998 Buyer's guide issue. It's a Great Planes TurboStar (yeah, just like I spelled it). It might have been sold under some other names and brands at one time. 26" long, 9-3/4" wide. It was designed to run 2- 6 or 7 cell packs. I have some more info, very little, on it if you need more. They may have done an article on it at one time.
