Hi, my name is Joe and I'm kinda new here, but I've been reading for a while..

I'm from Australia, and I'm quite keen to come over to this event, and possibly enter, if I can come up with something special :)

If I cant make it, I'd still like to build a car which is capable of doing 100mph plus, and break the Australian record (I dont think one even exists!)

My idea is a super 1/10 scale, IE a Mugen K2-X Avance (which I have sitting in my shed), with something like a big block Sirio Monster XL Pro .27, with 3.1HP....and then I will add things such as low drag body shell, ceramic bearings, 2WD (instead of 4WD), and custom pulleys..

It would be nice to see an off the shelf car with lots of main stream modifications crack 100mph, if not break the record :)

So, who else is going to enter, from other countries? Anyone from Australia??

Would you guys accept French backward brain dummies like myself ?? LoL

Still undecided, but who knows, I might be there...

Where California is it's own country next to the USA, everybody outside of California will be foreigners. You better learn Spanish to speak the official language there. :D :D

I'm with Craps. ;) We're coming from the east coast; a place that's considered to be another country by those on the "left" coast.

I would love to attend!
I am designing an extreme speed car right now for a trial on the record
THIS year!

Now, my car is longer than 61 cm.....

See my the car's web site at:

Steve, could a foreigner do it by proxy? Just post the car off and have someone like you press the button?

I wondered the same thing, but then, Mr Lee and myself might well be working in cahoots, so to speak

I'm sure you could pair up with someone that will be attending. I'll have my hands full with my own car, and I wouldn't want to put someone else's car into the wall. ;)
