Ni-Cad Battery charger/discharger

Any suggestions on a Nicad battery charger/discharger , I use a Futaba tx/rx and all I have is the standard charger that came with the tx/rx. I understand that the nicads need to be completly discharged from time to time.

i've got an MPI automatic peak charger. it can charge and discharge up to a 10 cell pack. it works for both NiCad and NiMh. it cost me $75 at the LHS.
