View Full Version : What color IS an anchor?

The tug I am doing RHM MALABAR has anchor recesses in the bow and the anchors cannot be seen in the photographs I have. but if you bend down and peer up the recess you can see an anchor on each sideon the model, so they need to be painted. but haze gray? deck gray? red flukes? any ideas?

Same colour as the hull,or black with rust in appropriate places.

Thats the way I was Leaning The Anchor recesses in the are rubber lined so the rust wa\ould only be on the flukes where they found rock. or course rust streaks WOULD show on the black rubber.
