Hi, New member. I haven't been in the R/C scene in a while. So as the title says, does any have any first hand experience with the Kyosho Twin Force 4WD EP Monster Truck Kit? Any info will be appreciated. TIA

Mine will be here today..... I want to know if a 107 oz servo will be ok for steering. I get along fine with that on the e-maxx, so will it be comparable to that?

Had mine about 1 week now.I'm using a HiTec HS645MG which according to specs gives 107oz.It seems to do the job fine.
Very happy with the truck in general, jumps nicely and goes as hard as my friends e-maxx.Haven't broken anything yet and I reckon due to its simple design it should take a good hammering. Some things which I think may need to be done though, are making some covers for the pinions/spur gear and the lower drive gear - all of which are exposed.
Novak have recently released a brushless setup to suit the TwinForce and E-Maxx which I am considering cos the puny esc I'm using at the moment is on the verge of a meltdown.

Hmm thanks for info. I will compare to my e-maxx too. Merry Christmas to all.

I just got mine done with a streak and a 107 oz servo. steering is good, but the streak is not very smooth. I think it needs a evx or perfex or super e truck esc....

Just installed the Novak HV last night and took this bad boy our for a spin. First off, switch to program "3" for only 25% reverse, I was in full speed stopped and went into reverse and the my rims actuall tore away from my tires in the rear.

I am a veteran RC car racer and I glue my tires on good....I guess not good enough. I must say, this thing hauls but. I couldn't believe how fast this truck was going. This will dust my mod clod any day. I'll post pics soon..

RACE ON!!

Here are some pics of the HV Novak installed. I just attached the Cooling Fan last night, I really can't tell the big difference with it on or off, my batts are dead. Throttle control is needed to keep this bad boy from wheeling all the time, but all in all, this is an awesome set up.

What mods did you do to your Twin Force? And how fast does it go stock?
