Hi Dejan, im using a V one sII but i have already upgraded all the parts on it. I like the engine(GS15r), it's great it keeps on running even the weather(50degree celcius) here in dubai is devastating. Actually we're having a points system race every friday and most of the cars are V one s using a gs15r. Im proud to tell you that im on the second position now for three consecutive weeks. this coming friday is our final. v one s is a great car. I have a V one rr with RS12T5S1 novarossi engine but im not using it because of hot weather It's always stall after 3 minutes run due to overheat but Gs15r it can survive the race. i will post some pictures of my Vone S tommorrow.

i cannot post a pictures, it's giving an error like "large file". anyways race was over and became 1st runner up and for me that's fine. For almost two years in rc hobby its my great achievement having prize in my hand, at least i've got something in return of all the expenses i've made before. I want to post pictures of the race, help pls..

Hi all
I'm thinking of getting a carbon top deck for my v-one-s is there any other parts required for fitting? Oh well done Juni :-)

hi leigh, thanks, it's better to have a carbon upper deck. It stiffens the middle of your car and shifted your throtle servo to 90 degrees which result in well balanced chassis. Other part required is fuel tank used in V-one r/rr Part no. 92050B and modification of your linkages.

Cheers for the info. I've just got new shocks so we shall see what they do before the upper deck. :)

leigh have you heared the latest news from hobby centre regarding the second season of race? there's a rumors that they are going to give a FW05S for the winners these coming season. well that's what we're waiting for.

The only thing i've heard so far is there will be a meeting soon to discuss next season and they want sponsors, any ideas? Also they might split the drivers into teams i.e 1 advanced drived, 1 intermediate and 1 beginner in each team to give everyone a chance ;-) for me that might be a good thing ;-)

that's better for me as well, see, all participants must enjoy the race and this time it's teamwork. one more thing, I hope the Hobby centre will lower their spare parts prices it's too expensive.

lol tell me about it, i've taken shares in the company. i really have to call it a day now on this spend spend. you know i even considered getting a v-one-r as it has all the parts i was thinking of buying, right up to the part when it hit me there is even more hopups and expense ;-) so sticking with v one s and wicked paint jobs ;-) an fwo5 would be nice though

Im waiting for this car too. hope our LHS will sell it to us with low price :( Hey try to change your body, try honda nsx or vauxhall astra. im using porsche before but it has bad handling. then i swithced to NSX and i feel the difference its very good in the corner. I want to try vauxhall but it's not available.

Hi leigh, pretty much excited this coming second season. I found the sponge tire is good. my car has improve acceleration due to the fact that sponge tires has less weight than rubber tires, cornering also improved but steering became sensitive i corrected it by lowering my dual rate and ST EXP. Good thing my 3PK has all the necessary function to make my car performed well. see you on the track this friday.

thats good to know about the tires, will make a note ;) personnally i would just like to finish and maybe get in that final... or i'll give up now ;) did you get you tank sorted? still haven't found any white paint but did find some xxx-main paint masks in the place in thunder bowl.
And here's a special note for all you newbees with v-one-s's that want to go racing: number one get a two speed and no. two change the shocks!.... more top tips to follow ;)

Help needed.... i'm trying to fit the carbon upper deck to my v-one-s and having huge problems sorting the linkages. I'm finding that the throttle is not opening fully is there any trick to this?

Hi
Pertaining to the races this season, few qs.
Since the KWC will allow only FW-05S cars with GS 15 engines. Do we have to bring a FW05S or we can race with FW05R's with OS 12 Tr engines ?
At this race is it allowed to race with a Turbo head engine.
Since I have a v one rr with OS 12 TR and a Fw05R with 12.TR turbo am I allowed to race at the tracks. I am not a good driver YET.. but would want to start racing at the tracks.
OR should I start with a V one S II with GS 15 engine ?

Hi there, you can race your FW-05 if you want as the 'championship' we are running at the moment is 'open'. The majority of cars are hop'd up v-one-s's and a few v-one r's. I think providing its 1/10th scale anything goes. Races start at 7pm on Fridays and best to get there by 6.30. As for being new to racing we all started there and its a great crowd, all very helpful.
On the engines, the GS15 is the one of choice, even the guys that race kind of professionally prefer this one as its very strong and finnishes the races, Turbo heads no problem, keeping on the track is ;) The heats are 5 minutes followed by a 10 minute final.

Which is the best car among the V one S 2..... I saw quite a few car models there but i guess thats just the body which is difff...... the car's all same. I heard the Benz is a good one.........what u guys think !!
BTW.... when does this championship race end / start ......is it gonna be a monthly affair or just like that once in a while........thing due to DSS ?!!
I was hoping a more frequent race schedule for guys like me to learn and practice more. Plus I think Hobby centre should have some sort of PASSes for the Park.....As I prefer to go noot only on weekneds.......

Race track is always open except wednesday(ladies only allowed in the park) form 3pm to 10pm. passes is not necessary, you pay 5 dirham at the maingate and you can enjoy practicing without time limit. Fridays is a Big Day in the race track. Anyways where did you got the FW05r? how's the car is it good?

How much is the price of this upgrade. I think You can get a new v one s2 kit for that much.
Plus if you are going to race for the Kyosho world cup you need to have a stock v one s 2 with only minimal mods. otherwise you cant qualify.
FW-05s is going to be used in the next KWC and V one S/S2 are not going to be allowed.
Please check all details before you spend $$$. if you need a fun car for just fooling around then yeah you can upgrade this one and forget buying new car./s.
otherwise a good choice would be a fw05S and start with the stock to play at the track upgrade as required.

V one S still the best for me :D , in terms of handling these car is awesome. In my opinion no need to buy a 3D clutch, If you have a two speed in it replace the stock pinion gear(14T/17T) with a bigger one(16T/19T). With your RB engine it will make your car like a crazy mustang. tune the two speed properly. the engagement point should be set properly to give a better response in the whole band but in prior to this you have to tune your engine first. Carbon upper deck will stiffen the midlle of the car and provide a well balance chassis. If you're going to run the car with rubber tire try to have a soft suspension set-up for better handling. Good luck to your Vone S :)

Hi Aziz,
Do you have a Rubber tire version of that car? how much? it seems that your going to compete the H**** C***** huh... :D well you know them, always late in terms of new kit, they are not aware of what's happening in the world of RC. let me look for a buyer, any commision? :D joke.

Im sorry Aziz don't have the hudy set-up, if you know Jerwin from hobby home he's having these thing you can contact him from this no. 0507482717 he's a nice guy. anyways did the FW05R has include a front bevel diff instead of one way diff? co'z i dont want to run one way on the track it's very dusty you know it's useless to have one way it well make the car unstable most in the corner.
