I love my T-Maxx. Don't get me wrong. But lately it has been pissin' me off.

I broke my bulkheads about a month or 2 ago. I replaced them. I also got new bulkhead braces because my screws were bent and I was sure that they got a little stipped.

I was looking closely at my bumper (rpm black) and noticed that it was sitting funny. One of the screw heads that feeds throught the bumper mounts is broken off and the rest is in the brace. I can't tell you how mad this makes me.

I am so sick of screws stripping and my allen wrenches stripping out. I am pretty sure that right now, there are 2 stripped motor mount screws that are not coming out because they are still pretty tight right now, and 2 or 3 heatsink screw stripped. Not to mention the phillips screws that are about dead.

HELP!! I have been trying to research screw kits, but it doesn't seem to fun to replace all the screw on my tmaxx. I don't care for titanium, or an of that crap. What do you guys recommend??? Also, what about allen wrenches.. what do you use?? Are there higher quality ones?? I need a good set for my xxxnt too.

There'a a ton of quality allen wrench sets... too many to list. You need to look around a bit. Check out the set from Integy for under $30

rcscrews.com and others have screw sets... go to rcuniverse and look. I think they advertise them all over that site.

no... if you want a real quality screw set.. go with titanium... Hardcore racing makes some, but they are not cheap.
