Has anyone tried scaling down a Rice thrust nozzle (Similar to a kort nozzle but produces higher thrust at lower speed) very narrow compared to kort. did you know that an optimum kort is 4 diameters long? Might be interesting to play with. Two optmum korts side by side faired into the hull , sort of a straight line jet drive.

Well no one said "STOP" so i'll go on,
I build a "Test bench" preliminary figures follow:
Bare (NO nozzle) Prop at 12v draws 3.2 amps turns 545 and pulls 50 (Set with variable resistor)
with the red plastic "kort nozzle" from you know who (Cleaned up and faired in) At 12vdc (Filtered, regulated power supply) it drew 2.9 amps turned 621 and pulled 63
these are preliminary and only an indication the tank is too small as the whole thing gets into motion.
I have not yet built A rice nozzle due to the thin cross section.
the nozzle used is very close to a marin 19b in cross section.
I think I will order another and make some changes
TOO much fun!
